Tummy tuck price: what the figure includes and what it does not
Included: theatre and facilities, pre-operative labs, the initial compression garment, the post-surgical recovery package — polarised light, ultrasound, cold laser, pulsed laser on the scar — and every follow-up visit until discharge. In a tummy tuck the follow-up matters more than in almost any other operation: the scar is long by design and the swelling takes months to settle.
Not included: the assessment consultation ($800 MXN, billed separately), hospital and anesthesiologist fees when the case is done in a hospital theatre rather than the clinic’s own, replacement garments, and your flight and lodging if you travel in.
That is why a quote from here can read higher at first and end up lower: the quote that only covers the surgeon’s fee always wins the first comparison and grows afterwards.
How much is a full tummy tuck?
From $80,000 MXN approx., all-inclusive. A full abdominoplasty removes the excess abdominal skin, repairs the muscle wall and repositions the navel. It is the operation indicated when there is real loose skin — after pregnancies or major weight loss — and not just localised fat.

How much is lipoabdominoplasty?
From $120,000 MXN approx. It is the version most patients have today: the same tummy tuck plus liposuction of the abdomen, waist and flanks in the same surgical event. It costs more than the tummy tuck alone because it is two surgical procedures — resection and liposculpture — and more theatre time; it costs less than having the two operations separately, because theatre, anesthesia and recovery are paid once.
Mini tummy tuck: cost
From $100,000 MXN approx., liposuction included. The mini works only on the lower abdomen — between the navel and the pubis — with a shorter scar and no navel repositioning. The tariff quotes it together with its liposuction because the two are practically always done together.
Choosing between mini and full is a question of anatomy, not budget: if the loose skin extends above the navel, or the muscle separation runs the full length, the mini falls short — and you are told so before surgery, not after. Details here.
Does diastasis repair change the price?
Repairing the diastasis recti — the muscle separation left by pregnancy — is part of the tummy tuck’s surgical plan whenever it is indicated; it is not a separate tariff line. What does change the number is the total scope of the operation, and that is measured in a physical examination, not over the phone or from a photo.
How much is a mommy makeover?
$180,000 MXN, fixed package price. It combines the abdominal operation with breast surgery — augmentation, lift or reduction as the case requires — in a single surgical event. Why can’t the exact price be given without seeing you?
Because the cost follows the anatomy: how much skin is in excess, whether the muscle wall needs repair, whether a mini, a full or a lipoabdominoplasty is the right plan.
