FemTouch is a non-surgical intimate rejuvenation treatment that uses a fractional CO₂ laser by Lumenis. FemTouch is performed with a Lumenis CO₂ laser platform, and the parameters are adjusted to each patient anatomy and reason for consultation. The application modes that may be used are:
- Intravaginal treatment: the dedicated applicator is introduced and fractional laser energy is applied along the vaginal canal, in a controlled pass, to treat the mucosa throughout its length.
- External vulvar treatment: when indicated, fractional energy is also applied to the external area to work on the quality of the skin in the region, with more conservative parameters.
- Energy tuning by goal: the depth and density of the pulses are graded according to whether the priority is mucosal hydration, a sense of tone, or comfort, always within ranges defined by Lumenis.

How is it performed?
FemTouch is performed in the office, on an outpatient basis, usually without anaesthesia or with a topical anaesthetic depending on each patient sensitivity. The intravaginal session typically lasts a few minutes: the Lumenis applicator is placed and the laser passes over the mucosa delivering the fractional energy in a controlled way. Most patients describe a tolerable sensation of warmth or vibration, and can return to their activities the same day, with some care instructions for the following days.

Dr. Arístides Arellano is a plastic surgeon holding a specialty licence: he practises under a Mexican medical licence (D.G.P. 1125959) and a specialty licence in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (0002008), both issued by the Directorate General of Professions (DGP), which reissued his certificate of professional standing in 2025.
